Tandy : Senior

Tandy & I finally got a chance to go out & get her senior photos taken between sporting events. She is one busy girl & as we all know quite involved in Etna athletics. Look for more sport pictures in the future. We headed outdoors for these & the weather had a little bit of everything to offer. I'm thinking warmer weather would be a good thing at this point. I have been heading out in freezing, just about raining or snowing weather lately & I am already ready for spring to roll around!! Now back to Tandy....

St. Jude....You absolutely should watch this!

With Christmas fast approaching it is so easy to get side tracked by the "what to get" & "what to get done" lists. I have been a supporter of St. Jude for awhile now but this video represents soooo much more than St. Jude alone. It makes me appreciate that my children are healthy and sets me back a for a moment to think about and realize what is really important. This will most likely make you cry some heart felt tears, but it is worth watching every second of it. I also love Matthew West. I just bought his CD the other day, so it was cool to see him sharing this story....just watch it.

I was delighted to be able to take my sisters family pictures. We crossed our fingers for the weather to hold off raining or snowing on us & luckily it did! It was a little cold & damp out but we got it done, yeah!

Brice & Heidi : Engagement

My Cousin Brice is getting married to Heidi next summer & I was really excited to be able to have a chance to photograph them. They are so at ease & fun...Heidi is someone who you instantly feel comfortable with. We climbed fences, dodged a cattle drive and crossed our fingers that we didn't get sprayed by a skunk that we could smell but never did see (thank goodness!!). I am looking forward to their wedding & I think they are going to have a wonderful future together.

Myra & I got together in Etna for her senior photos. She lives up by JH Ranch & we headed up there for the end of our shoot. I was so excited we were going up there because I have lived in the Valley for 18+ years & NEVER been up to JH Ranch. It was so pretty & it was a great setting for Mayra's photos.

EHS Volleyball : Team Photos

The Etna Lady Lions had a great home game last week Pierce last week...winning three exciting sets to advance them to the next round of playoffs. Earlier in the day we took some team pictures. We had to stay inside because of the rain & work around basketball practice but these girls were game for that too! Good luck as you advance in playoffs Lions!

I had a great time taking Allyson's senior photos. We ventured around Etna and took advantage of its great little spots. We even had an audience for awhile, but it didn't faze us (too much :))!

Round II for Hadley! She was a trooper & I've decided she is going to be a social butterfly, because she is bound & determined to stay awake & visit with me! That is just fine though because she has gorgeous eyes & it is amazing to see just how quickly babies grow & develop!

Katie is such a beautiful, talented girl! She is growing up into a wonderful person, one I have known since she was itty bitty! She has been a neighbor & family friend from the start & it was awesome to be able to photograph her now that she is a senior! Wow, how time flies from diapers to diploma's!!

August: Class of 2011. I had a fun time capturing senior photos for August. He is a really great guy and he even brought his sword! So cool! I loved that he was willing to have some fun & bring it along.
