Cami : Senior 2012

We headed out to Cami's stomping ground, Kidder Creek Camp to get the afternoon started. Cami brought along a ton of outfits to choose from and even a chair, which we packed down the hill to get a few shots with. Awesome!! We made our way back to Fort Jones and ended with some indoor studio sets.

I just love photographing seniors! Every single one of you is unique and bring your own personality and vibe to each session. Fun, fun, love it!

Savina : Portraits : 1 Year

It was a birthday photo shoot for Savina and I was loving the cute outfits her mom brought for her 1 Year Photos! We started out with a few shots inside, then moved outside into the sunshine. At a year old, Savina is on the move and exploring and I am sure it will only be a blink of the eye before she is running all over the place after her big brother.

Marina : Senior 2012

I was honored to be able to take Marina's photos. I have watched her grow up into such a beautiful young lady and looking at her photos stirs memories and makes me wish only the best for her future!

It's amazing how time flies by and our children grow up so fast! The little ones who ran around riding ponies, jumping on trampolines and blowing out birthday candles on brightly decorated cakes are growing up before my eyes. It is one of the things I enjoy about photographing people; catching a moment in time. Because whether a picture is "good" or "bad", it is who we are in that moment and it creates an everlasting memory; even if we don't realize it then.

Sneak Peak: Smiley Children

Today I took photos of the Smiley kids, and Wow!, they are getting big! Brooke is growing up like crazy into such a beautiful girl and those brothers of hers are just too cute too! I am looking forward to posting the rest of their photos by the end of the week. Thanks Smiley family, you are "gorgeous"!

Savina : Portraits

Despite losing power for awhile we were able to finally do Savina's photos. Her mom (Amber) brought dresses that her mother (Pat) had worn when she was a baby...that is so cool! We took a photos of Savina wearing the same dress her Grandma Pat wore in a photo years ago. The dresses are so delicate & pretty. It was really fun to recreate a moment in time. I just love being able to take photographs that will capture those moments & memories!

Slope Style : Sports & Events

Mt. Shasta Ski Park held its annual Slope Style event on Saturday, Jan 22nd. It was so nice up there. The sun was warm, shining and the day was sooo nice! I was able to get some photos of the competitors. I have posted them on my website and also on Flickr.
